Postdoctoral Researcher
The Sarles group is accepting applications for one postdoctoral researcher to help lead research projects focused on brain-inspired biomolecular/electronic materials. Highly qualified and motivated candidates with relevant experience and publications in the development and characterization of biomolecular, organic, or neuromorphic electronics are encouraged to send their CV to Andy @ ssarles@utk.edu.

PhD Student positions
The Sarles group is looking to hire 1-2 graduate research assistants (preferably PhD students) for funded research projects on bio-inspired materials and systems in Fall 2022 or Spring 2023. Highly motivated candidates with strong analytical and writing abilities are desired, with priority given to those with experience in characterizing polymeric or biological materials, methods for electrical test and measurement, and scientific programming (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW). Undergraduate Research Opportunities
The Sarles group in search of 1-2 undergraduate research assistants to assist with funded research projects on bio-inspired materials and systems within the next 1-6 months. Highly motivated and dependable students should send a resume/CV to ssarles@utk.edu. Priority will be given to students with experience in: 1) data acquisition/instrumentation using LabVIEW; 2) experience working with soft materials (including 3D printing); and/or 3) electrical test and measurement of devices and simple circuits.
